National Weather Service Town Hall Meeting and Remembering Hurricane Camille

The National Weather Service in Blacksburg invites you to our Town Hall Meeting at the Leslie Gillis '29 Theater in the Center for Leadership and Ethics at 500 Anderson Drive, Lexington, VA on Tuesday August 18th from 7 to 9 pm. 

Meteorologists will provide an overview of our mission to protect lives an property, review weather safety tips, show videos of the destructive power of severe weather, and discuss how weather data, warning decisions, and communications have changed since Hurricane Camille struck 40 years ago.
