We invite you to present and/or participate in the 2nd
NWS/Eastern Region Virtual Satellite Workshop, to take place between 8-5pm EST
on October 30, 2012, via webinar. Those interested in presenting at this
workshop should contact both Frank Alshemier (frank.alsheimer@noaa.gov) and Dave
Radell (david.radell@noaa.gov) with a title and short summary of the
presentation topic by 31 August 2012. See the Call for Papers below

Theme: "Integrating new satellite data into the
operational forecast environment."
Workshop Objective: To share and promote the
development of new and effective use of current satellite-fused data into
weather forecast operations.
