...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM SUNDAY TO 7 AM EST
MONDAY...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN NEW YORK.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

PLEASE LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR GO TO WEATHER.GOV ON THE
INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

PLEASE LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR GO TO WEATHER.GOV ON THE
INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL CROSS THE GREAT LAKES LATE TUESDAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. PRECIPITATION MAY BEGIN AS A BRIEF PERIOD OF
SNOW AHEAD OF THE SYSTEM LATE TUESDAY...THEN CHANGE TO A WINTRY
MIX OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN BEFORE CHANGING TO RAIN TUESDAY
NIGHT. THIS MAY RESULT IN A PERIOD OF VERY SLIPPERY TRAVEL.

THE PERIOD OF RAIN TUESDAY NIGHT MAY RESULT IN MINOR FLOODING OF
LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS...ESPECIALLY WHERE SNOW HAS
BLOCKED STORM DRAINS. IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT IT WILL BE WARM
ENOUGH FOR A LONG ENOUGH PERIOD OF TIME TO RESULT IN RIVER
FLOODING OR ICE JAM FLOODING. THE DEEP SNOWPACK WILL LIKELY ABSORB
MOST OF THE RAINFALL.

GUSTY WINDS ARE POSSIBLE BEHIND THE SYSTEM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT INTO
WEDNESDAY AS COLD AIR RUSHES BACK INTO THE REGION.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
