CENTRAL MARYLAND AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA AS WELL AS THE DISTRICT OF
COLUMBIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

GUSTY MARINE WINDS AROUND 20 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED ON THE MARYLAND
CHESAPEAKE BAY BETWEEN SANDY POINT AND SMITH POINT BETWEEN 4 PM
AND 4 AM. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO THE
EVENING. SOME WILL CONTAIN VERY HEAVY RAIN. ISOLATED AREAS OF
FLASH FLOODING MAY RESULT...PARTICULARLY IN URBAN AREAS.

THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF SYSTEMS WILL TRACK ALONG A FRONT THAT IS
LIKELY TO SAG INTO THE REGION TONIGHT. SUCCESSIVE PERIODS OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY BRING PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN. THIS
WILL INCREASE THE CHANCES OF LOCALIZED FLOODING STARTING LATE
TONIGHT.

THE SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL BRING A COUPLE MORE PERIODS OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. PERIODS OF
