TODAY TOWARD NANTUCKET TODAY. THE STRONGEST GALE FORCE WINDS WILL
OCCUR OVER THE NORTHERN MASSACHUSETTS WATERS. DANGEROUS SEAS OF 15
TO 20 FT WILL BE OBSERVED ACROSS THIS AREA AS WELL. THIS COASTAL
LOW WILL SLOWLY WEAKEN TONIGHT AND ESPECIALLY FRI AS THE LOW

  PUTNAM... WILLIMANTIC...MILFORD...WORCESTER...FOXBORO...
  NORWOOD... TAUNTON...BROCKTON...FALL RIVER...NEW BEDFORD...
  MATTAPOISETT... MANCHESTER...NASHUA...FOSTER...SMITHFIELD...
  PROVIDENCE...WEST GREENWICH...WARWICK...BRISTOL...
  NARRAGANSETT...WESTERLY AND NEWPORT.

* WINDS...NORTH 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH.

* TIMING...THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL OCCUR IN HEAVY RAIN SQUALLS
  AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

* IMPACTS...THESE STRONG WINDS MAY RESULT IN SOME DOWNED TREE
  LIMBS AND EVEN ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES. THE HEAVY RAIN COMBINED
  WITH MANY FULLY LEAFED TREES WILL LIKELY EXACERBATE THE
  POTENTIAL FOR DOWNED TREE LIMBS.

A WIND ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST TO BE
31 TO 39 MPH OR GUSTS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 46 AND 57 MPH. WINDS
THIS STRONG ARE CAPABLE OF DOWNING SMALL TREE LIMBS AND
BRANCHES...POSSIBLY CAUSING ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES.  DRIVING CAN
ALSO BE DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
